The leg posts on this beautiful birch log bed measure approximately 6 inches in diameter.

The frame of the bed is of all wood construction, with sturdy wood support for the mattress and box springs. Each of these birch log beds is finished in a long-lasting, 4-step clear laquer finish. White birch furniture does require special care. If handled roughly, the bark will peel off. It can be easily glued back on, however.

Optional drawers are available and may be added under this or any other of the beds from the Northwood line.
