This log chest has 3 large drawers for sweathers, t-shirts, jeans and shorts plus 2 smaller top drawers for small items. Made of pine and cedar, this log chest matches any of our pine or cedar log beds and will complete any rustic log furniture themed bedroom at home, by the lake or a hunting lodge.

This log chest features a strip of decorative wood between the top and the 2 smaller top drawers and below the bottom drawer. These decorative strips of wood add to the rustic look while adding strength and durability. The 1 inch tops are draw-knifed by hand to give each rustic log furniture piece its own unique look. The drawer fronts, face frames and drawer pulls are all made from solid Northern White Pine.

For a more rustic log furniture look, keep this log chest unfinished or add a clear lacquer, light honey or whitewashed finish for added protection.

The drawers are constructed from furniture grade birch for drawer stability. Each drawer will have two epoxy coated self-closing drawer glides to ensure a smooth and silent sliding drawer.
