A pine full over full log bunk bed is perfect for that hunting cabin, chalet by the lake or kid's room. This pine log bunk bed conforms to federal safety codes. It is built to hold a full-sized adult on each bunk (up to 250 lbs.) and has safety rails around the top.

This log full over full bunk bed is made of solid 3 inch Pine logs uniform in size and has a solid wood bed frame. The ladder ends of the bunk bed come pre-assembled to make putting the bed together as easy as possible. You can put bunky boards in the wood bed frame, which will hold up the mattress, or you can use box springs.

Most people don't use box springs because that leaves less space between the two bunks and between the top bunk and the ceiling, but the choice is up to you. We sell the bunky boards, or your may make your own out of 3/4 inch plywood. A bunky board is cut to fit in the bunkbed frame and support a mattress. If you do not purchase one from us, you may make your own from 3/4 inch plywood. Simply cut the plywood to the size of a standard size mattress for the size bed you are buying.

A bunky mattress is a mattress that includes a bunky board. The mattresses we offer are a medium grade mattress and 8 inches thick, similar to what is used in many fire departments. This log bunkbed does not need a separate ladder, as the ladder is built right into the headboard. Top side rails come with the bunkbed.
