It is available from the manufacturer finished or in a natural state. If you are a do-it-yourselfer, you may also finish it yourself in the color or stain of your choosing. This little ottomon is German-peeled, which means it is slightly rough to the touch but not rough enough to cause a splinter. If you want it perfectly smooth your may sand it, or hand-sanding is also available as an option from the manufacturer. Some easy assembly is required, but nothing to lose any sleep over.
