This solid White Cedar day bed is great for those areas where space is of essence. By day, use as a comfortable couch and at night just roll back the covers and climb into a standard twin sized bed. This day bed can also be purchased with an additional roll out frame for two twin-sized beds, (pictured) or a pop up frame which will turn it into a King sized bed! The difference between the roll-out and the pop-out is this: The roll-out, rolls out from under the day bed and does not come up even with the day bed. The pop up frame comes up even with the day bed, making it the same width as a King size bed but not the same length.

About Assembly: Our Cedar Log Daybeds come complete with the headboard, footboard, back log railing, and mattress support. The mattress support provides support for a twin mattress with no need of a box spring. The mattress is not included. Trundle frames are also available with mattress support. The ladder-type pieces that go across the back of the day bed, and along the sides, come pre-assembled. A wood mallet will be helpful to tap things back into alignment, should they jostle in shipping. An electric screwdriver, socket wrench and rubber mallet are the only tools needed for assembly.

Mattresses:

We offer two styles of Englander mattresses to go with our log beds, a Firm-A-Pedic Plush and the Posture Guard Pillow Top. Both options include:

* a 10 yr non-prorated warranty.
* 390 (queen) Bonnell 13 gauge coil units conforms to your neck, shoulders & lower back, treated ultra loft fibers, and
* 6 gauge border wire and the border is quilted for extra strength.

The Firma-A-Pedic Plush Mattress, which is 7 1/2" high, also features 5/8" regular polyfoam in the upholstery and in the multi needle panel quilting.

The Posture Guard Pillow Top is 10" high, and is filled with 2 1/2" of regular polyfoam. It also features upholstery made up of advantage cotton felt and 3/8 inch regular polyfoam.
