Viking Log Furniture Wilderness Pine Log Futon – Full or Queen Size
Handcrafted from knotty pine, this log futon with some of the bark left on, offers a beautiful yet practical rustic furniture piece. The arms on this piece of log furniture are a full 6 inches in diameter, giving it that massive look.
This log futon is fastened together using mortise and tenon joinery. The knotty pine logs are draw-knifed by hand, which gives each log futon a unique rustic look of its own. The front-operating solid wood futon frame is fastened together using a wood thicker and stronger than those found on most futons.
This log furniture piece requires some easy assembly to allow for ease of moving through doorways and stairs. This piece of rustic log furniture comes with a full lifetime warranty.

Shipped by freight from the manufacture in three large boxes bundled on a pallet. Easy to carry each unboxed piece and hardware inside and put together by myself. The full size frame is an appropriate height for sitting, the seat is not too wide as many futon frames are, especially for shorter people. The back is upright at a good angle. The ‘mechanism’ is peg in a grove. Instructions advise to apply bar soap or bees wax? to the groove the pegs ride in, do this prior to assembling. There is an unexpected piece located under the center back of the frame that sits on the floor, seems to be there to provide unobtrusive additional support to the frame. If you like futons and log style furniture then this is a quality, USA made, great choice.
