With clean lines and no bark left on, this hickory log nightstand offers a more simple look to a traditional log furniture piece. You can also mix this nightstand with other Fireside Lodge hickory rustic furniture pieces where the bark has been left on.

This log nightstand includes a 'cubby' space for magazines and books with a lower 1 drawer for storing small items like reading glasses or remote control.

Hickory is known as a wood with a combination of strength, toughness, hardness and stiffness making it a wonderful wood to build furniture with. Unlike other rustic log furniture, Hickory furniture which looks more delicate because of the smaller logs, can actually weigh as much as 25% more than Cedar or Pine and be much harder.
