The design of these Aspen Silver Creek log bunk beds with both vertical pickets and two horizontal side rails is sure to fit with any rustic furniture motif. The bunk beds now includes a built-in ladder on both the footboard and headboard to provide easy access to the top.

The thickness of the mattress and foundations combined used on these log bunk beds should not exceed 12 inches on the bottom bunk and 8 inches on the top bunk. It is recommended to use a bunkie board as a foundation which can be purchased any any local mattress retailer.

To keep the natural look of the wood, a low sheen catalyzed lacquer or Honey Glaze finish is used. See 'Additional Images' table for sample photo of honey glaze finish.
